Story
I've seen the great work of Send a Cow in Ethiopia. Send a Cow is awarded by the president of Ethiopia for their great work amongst the poorest of the poor. Therefore I support Send a Cow wherever I can.
The cycle ride through Rwanda is to get to know the people, to encourage local farmers being part of projects as well as the local team of Send a Cow. And to raise money to support Send a Cow in training local farmers.
Send a Cow is a International Development charity with a difference. They’ve been working with some of Africa’s poorest families for nearly 30 years, helping over 1.3 million people work their way out of extreme poverty. They provide livestock, tools, seeds and training as part of a programme giving people the hope and means to establish a future for themselves, their families and their wider communities. They are currently delivering our programmes in seven African countries: Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, Uganda and Sambia.
