Story

Even if you can just spare a £1 I'd be very very grateful!

Working as an "On-Call" FireFighter in both rural and urban areas I have been lucky enough to see and feel the value of communities! I've experienced first hand the strength of Families, Friends, Neighbours, Colleagues, Charities & Local Business all coming together in times of hardship when accidents and tradgadies occur.

This year I was fortunate enough to spend an amazing week with the Firefighters charity as part of an injury rehab process allowing me to get back to helping others quickly. The service was  outstanding, free and very empathetic of my needs.

Now its time for me to give something back! And to do this I'm going to cycle solo non-stop for 24+hrs in the middle of January, in the North of Scotland, in temps of - 8C, on ice, through snow, mud, forests and a whole lot of pain but smiling all the way! Hopefully 😉

If you are not aware of the amazing work the Firefighters Charity do then please give them a quick look. https://www.firefighterscharity.org.uk

I seriously could write an essay on how much they give, care and support people form all walks of life and especially those in the emergency services.
