The Christie Tower Run · 10 April 2022 ·

The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

Story

4 years ago the Christie Hospital had started to play a big part in our family’s life; my partner had been diagnosed with an incurable blood cancer and was about to receive a stem cell transplant, meaning weeks spent in the haematology department. 🩸

The impact the Christie has had on me has been profound, the work they do, day in day out, is outstanding. Both in research into eradicating cancer and the care the staff give to patients and their families. 🏥 The Christie Charity fund support in both these vital areas. 💷

✌🏼So here we go again!! This will be the 3rd time!!  I’m fundraised by running up the Beetham tower in Manchester on 10th April - 46 floors, 798 steps… 🥵🏃‍♂️

Please support me, your donations mean everything, and I’d love to raise £1 for every step up the building!

It’s a challenge that is as much physical and it is mental, there’s not much of a view in that stairwell and every flight looks the same! I’m aiming for 6 floors a minute

Please give what you can and make every step count! 💗
