Twelve members of Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MAWWFRS) were due to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groates between the 1st of June and the 9th of June 2020.

Sadly, due to Covid-19 this fundraising challenge has been postponed till June 2021. To mark the time that the team would have been undertaking the cycling challenge, we have  decided to cycle the combined distance of Lands End To John O’Groats and back!

This means that each member of the 12 person team will be undertaking a 22 mile static, indoor ride each day for 9 days between the 1st and 9th of June 2020, resulting in the required combined mileage of 2,376 miles.

During this time we would like our fundraising efforts to go to help support NHS Wales.
