Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  We are members of a UK wide Mountain Bike Club.  In 2015 we raised support for cancer research riding off road from Lands End to John of Groats.  In May 2017 we are planning to ride off road around the Lake District a total distance of about 140 miles and a total climb in excess of 4800m across very challenging terrain.   The monies we raise will be to support 'The Yorkshire Cancer Centre' who provides supplementary benefits; specialist medical equipment, research and development and patient ‘home comforts’ for Cancer patients.   With this Challenge we can assist the funding of their important work and can help to bring closer the day that we can all be cancer free.
