Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be undertaking a 190 mile tab in 7 days to raise as much money as possible for Help4HomelessVeterans whose amazing work can be seen via their web link.

I work in Westminster, London and see every day on Victoria Street the level of homelessness in this country. Speaking to these people you realise the number who are ex military, and it's staggering. The money raised during this challenge will not only go a small way to make someone's life better for the future, but I also hope the work done by Tom Wood and all at Help4HomelessVeterans will become better known and he and they receive the recognition and assistance they need and deserve. Seven days of graft and misery will be nothing compared to a week on the streets in winter.

My challenge will begin on 30 March through to 5 April. The route will take me from Glasgow to Fort William along the West Highland Way, a quick up and down Ben Nevis and then carry on to Inverness via the Great Glen Way. Although I will be staying in Hostels on route, I will be self supported so will be carrying approx 7kg a day throughout the week.

Engie Ltd have generously agreed to help cover the travel and accommodation so ALL donations will go directly to Help4HomelessVeterans.

I will be posting updates on here during my training and then during the challenge my friend and record breaking endurance adventurer, Alex Staniforth, will be updating this page day by day for me.
