I did it!  On October 4th, on a glorious sunny day, I walked 13 miles to support the amazing work that Maidenhead Heritage Centre does - and through your support I have raised almost £1400.  So sincere thanks to everybody who contributed on-line and off-line.  If you didn't manage to register your support in advance of the walk, this page will remain open for a while, so you can still help.  You may be assured that the money will be well spent, most of it on new display screens to expand our exhibitions, and some on a touchscreen computer - another way of sharing our huge collection of photos with our visitors.
