I used to live in Kendal but was brought up in Ilkley, so feel a walk to celebrate my marriage would be a good and original idea. My oldest friend David Deakin has Sarcoma and I suggested instead of just walking would be good to try and raise funds for this rare form of cancer.

The walk starts In KENDAL town centre Sat 23rd of July at 10 am.Walk 16 miles to Dent, camp out and drink beer (not too much), then walk from Dent to Hubberholme (11am Sun 24th) 22miles ( HARD DAY) camp out eat food and pass out!  then an (EASY DAY) 12 miles to Grassington (11am Mon 25th)Drink some more beer and eat food and prepare for final slog to ILKLEY 16 miles (11am Tues 25th), Destination Martinez wine bar for supper.

You my friends invited to walk ALL (FOR THE BRAVE ONLY) or 1 2 or 3 days up to you. please confirm which day or days so we can book tables for dinner in local pubs en-route.

Depending on numbers we will be having our gear moved for us and a large tent or tents set up for us at each stopover. Please research before committing this is not as easy as you my think and you will need suitable clobber for all weather and a good day bag for food water etc.
