The Carten100 · 10 May 2014

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

One of my daughter Ellie's best friends - Adam Green - died of cancer aged 14 in 2012.  Each year I ride the Carten 100 in his memory to raise funds to support other young people with cancer.  Adam's bravery and dignity throughout his illness still inspires me and cycling 100 miles in a day is my small way of honouring him.  The ride takes place on 10th May - the date he passed away.

Thanks for your support!
