SportsAid Week 2021 takes place from 20-26 September and offers the perfect opportunity to show your support for the next generation as the charity celebrates its 45th anniversary!

Story

Ian Roberts and Tom Utting are supporting the next generation of British para-athletes by taking part in SportsAid Week 2021!

During the Covid-19 pandemic, closed facilities meant opportunities for disabled people wanting to partake in organised activities were curtailed. The imposed restrictions including social distancing disproportionately affected para-athletes as their reliance on gyms, specialist equipment and training partners severely limited their ability to train.

However SportsAid can play a crucial role to support future generations of para-athletes with financial support and recognition.

As part of the #MyMiles challenge, Ian will be rowing and Tom will be running 45 miles each during SportsAid Week, which coincides with SportsAid's 45th birthday.

As part of SportsAid's wider target, Ian and Tom want to
raise £2000 to support future para-athletes.

Now, more than ever, they need your help to keep moving forward.
