This is Rod, a man so obviously in love with life that his heart warming smile and his seemingly endless supply of energy has always been contagious. Gentle and kind, Rod is a man that leaves the greatest impact on your life with the minimal of touches, such is his gravitational way. The world could do with a few more Rods, but - tragically - we're now one down.

In march 2011, Rod lost one of the most gracious and dignified fights with cancer the world has ever seen - with the purest of love and support from his best friend ... the mother of his children. Together they made the most amazing team, and they took the cancer on together, fighting it to the end - always with a smile.
