Story
I remember I was chatting to my friend and business partner 13 years ago when he took a call from his wife to say his daughter, Bel, had had a freak accident. She had broken her neck and was paralysed from the neck down.
I look back and think of all the things I have done in those 13 years that Bel and her family have not been able to do. I also think of all the incredible things that they have done that they thought they might not.
That Bel and her family have achieved so much is down to her courage and imagination. It is also down to the support and brilliant work of the Spinal Research team. Bel in her turn now supports them, proving herself to be an inspiring and strong-willed young woman.
I am running the London Marathon for Spinal Research next weekend for Bel, her family, and all the other families and people that rely on the incredible work of the Spinal Research team.
Any support you could give would be most welcome.
