Story

Raising funds for the Royal British Legion, Roger Miall is taking on his own Sir Tom Moore inspired challenge! Roger, a former TA Colonel in the Royal Engineers (40 years of service), has been a member of the Royal British Legion since. Recently disabled by a series of strokes and a heart condition, Roger plans to ride 100km on his exercise bike over 30 days to celebrate his 90th birthday and raise some much needed funds for the Royal British Legion.

The Royal British Legion, which celebrates its’ centennial anniversary this year, looks after former members of the Armed Forces who have fallen on hard times. They spend in order of £1million a week on this vital work, all of which has to be raised by the public. Roger only hopes that his effort will help raise awareness and a bit more money for this noble work.

So let’s help Roger celebrate his 90th with donations to a good cause!
