Story

PLEASE NOTE: OUR CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL IS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED. WE WERE ABLE TO HELP AROUND 280 CHILDREN.

Our Christmas Toy Appeal will go ahead this year but due to coronavirus there will be a few changes. We already have a number of toys that have been donated throughout the year. If you would like to help, we suggest you make a donation on our Just Giving page and writing 'Toy Appeal' in the comments. Social Workers in Havering will send us details of families in need. We will then use the money to buy gifts according to the ages/genders of the children. The gifts will be collected by Social Services from 8th December. Thank you.

We are setting a target of £1000 for the Toy Appeal which will run until the end of November.

The Salvation Army is a Christian Church & Registered Charity working in 130 countries worldwide and is one of the largest and most diverse providers of social welfare in the world. In the UK and Republic of Ireland this work includes more than 800 Salvation Army social service centres and community churches. We provide unconditional friendship, support and very practical help to people in crisis and need and work with children, homeless people, all adult victims of modern slavery and those dealing with drug and/or alcohol addiction.
