This year is a big one for St. Columbas Hospice as it first opened its doors to patients forty years ago.

To help celebrate this achievement I have talked my family into joining me on a two hundred mile cycle from Edinburgh to the Isle of Iona.

I have cycled the Celtic challenge twice already, and loved it, however to have Alasdair, Lucy and Mark cycle with me this year makes it more special.

I have worked at the Hospice as a Staff nurse for twenty years. I see daily how the much needed fundraising supports patients, families and friends.
