Mic and I are attempting to swim a mile in Lake Windemere (along with a few other people). It is for an excellent cause, and may just get us a bit fitter in the process. We've already tried our suits out in Lake Ullswater; the Hebridean Sea; Skye Fairy Pools and a river in Glencoe!
