Chasing the Sun 2016 · 18 June 2016 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you all know many a great idea is thought of in the pub and so it is with great pleasure I can let you know that I have agreed to join my fellow Reeds U9 coaches in the "Chasing the Sun" challenge. It is on the 18th June. We will start with a 6 mile trek up the 803 meter ""Old Man of Coniston" followed by a 7.5 mile mountain bike through the rugged trails of Grizedale forest and then finishing off on Conistan lake with a 1.5 mile kayak back to the start for what might be a well deserved pint. That is what started this in the first place.

We have decided on the NSPCC as it feels right as rugby coaches to support a children's charity that takes care of kids that are less fortunate than our own.

Our aim is to raise £350 each.

Thanks very much.

Rory
