Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year I am taking part in my 7th Tough Mudder at Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfries, and for the first time ever, I have a partner!

Tough mudder is an 15km all terrain assault course in which we climb walls, get dunked into ice cold water, get very muddy and even electrocuted with 10,000 volts!

Every year I pick a charity and this year I am fundraising for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH)

SAMH provides mental health support across communities via a wide range of actions. The events of Covid have taken a toll on most people’s mental health in one way or another and there is currently a massive backlog in people seeking help.

. At a time when mental health is being highlighted by the tragic suicides of so many people it is important to help those who are in need. unfortunately mental health is chronically underfunded so everything helps at this time when services are at breaking point. You can find out more about SAMH and what they do via their website www.samh.org.uk
