Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My sons, my family, my friends and their kids and myself are all taking part in the 5km Walk For Autism event on Sunday 7th June 2020 at Pollok Park Glasgow.

My son lives with Autism, it is not his label and as a family we have adapted to have a better understanding of Autism.

I want to raise awareness for the extra support required for children with Autism in schools / nurseries.  This process is extremely lengthy at times, 1 year + before support can be granted.  For me personally this is upsetting as I know and Joshua's nursery know that he requires additional support and we have no idea whether he will be granted the support and at what level according to his needs. 

My son and every other child deserves the best chance in their educational journey to thrive and learn but without the additional support in place for the children who require it, how can they?
