Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target :-) Thank you

Heart disease is something personal to me for a couple of reasons. I work as a cardiac MRI radiographer at Barts Heart Centre, one of the UK's leading cardiac centres, and as i'm sure lots of people can relate to, Heart disease has impacted my family and friends.

I'm really excited to be running the london Marathon, and also nervous! I'm going to work as hard as I can to get a decent time and be able to get round with a smile on my face for as long as possible 😆
