Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are taking on the Great North Run to raise money for a fantastic organisation, the North East Trust for Aphasia (NETA). This is where Rosie used to work before training as a speech therapist, so it's a cause close to her heart. NETA provides a vital service for people with aphasia and their families: having a stroke or head injury is a life-altering event in itself, but suddenly finding that you can no longer talk to your family or get your message across can be shattering. NETA helps people with aphasia pick up the pieces, find alternative ways to communicate, build friendships and look to the future.

Please take a minute to sponsor us! The funds raised will go to a truly worthwhile cause. And we will be spurred on to get through every one of those jelly-leg-inducing 13.1 miles!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
