Rosie & Abbie are running 10K!

Cancer Research UK London Summer Run 2021 · 5 September 2021 ·
We're taking on the challenge of running the London Summer Run for Cancer Research UK in memory of Steve (Rosie's husband, Abbie's Dad) who died in May 2017 one day after receiving the diagnosis of lung cancer, which had already spread to many parts of his body. We've also lost friends and other family members to cancer and we'll be honouring their memory too.
But it is also a personal goal for both of us: Rosie decided to try and complete the Couch2 5K programme in the November 2020 lockdown, and, encouraged all the way by her family, was spurred on to make running a 10K race a goal in 2021. She's joined by Abbie, one of her key encouragers, who's already done some running but is up for the challenge of running with her mum!
