Story

This tribute page has been set up to remember someone special.

Rosie is so sadly missed. A friend to all she met. A gentle soul, who was selfless and caring ( unless playing scrabble !).

Anyone who’d spoken to Rosie would feel they’d been respected and a special light had been shone upon them.

Rosie was a dedicated psychiatrist who specialised in prison work. Before this time she practised in drug and alcohol work. Her balanced, warm approach would endear her to anyone & especially help those who were disenfranchised & generally on the periphery of society.

Rosie is a mother to Grace & William, they are both brilliant young adults, the way they are coping & helping me get through this is tribute enough in itself.

Much of our life has centred around Southmead Hospital, we met there, both children born, I’m a staff member & in this last year Rosie has received the best of care from The Lung Cancer Team.

Thank you for giving. As well as practical help the monies also go towards research.
