Fundraising for Acorns Children's Hospice Trust
Story
Hi all,
This year is the 10th anniversary of losing my son Charlie Bate I wanted to do something that was challenging but also special to celebrate his life and hopefully earn some money for acorns trust who not only supported me and my family but also gave amazing care to Charlie.
It’s going to hurt especially my backside lol and I can imagine there will be some tough times on route to Austria but i can’t wait to get going

A bit about what I’m doing:-
Covering 1000 miles & climbing over 50,000ft in 9 days, Team ride2austria 2023 are cycling from the home of Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 Team in Milton Keynes, to the Red Bull Ring racing circuit in Austria!
At 7.30am on Friday 23rd June 2023, Team ride2austria will set off from the Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 Factory, and head South to Portsmouth. After Day 1, an overnight ferry will take them across the English Channel to Caen on the North Coast of France. From there, the Team continue South-East to Rambouillet, onto Troyes and Vesoul, before a night in Basel before starting the Apls section of the route. Stopping at Blundenz, Innsbruck and St Johann, we arrive in Speilburg, Austria around 5.00pm on Saturday the 1st July 2023. Many thanks for taking the time to visit our page, we'll see you in Austria 2023!
The cost of the event is covered by the team of riders taking part, meaning any pledges we receive are donated entirely to the worthy causes we are supporting!
