Here we are again , just hours before the start to Etape Caledonia 2017. Our numbers have diminished , but the commitment is strong.We are almost full circle to the founding riders and the weather looks promising !!!!

Hopefully all the rain fell today .

I wasn't going to do a fund raising page this year , just to give everyone a rest - this is our 8th campaign.However the new Dumfries Hospital is due to open at the end of the year, so if anyone feels inclined , please continue to show your support.

Feels like the event has fewer riders this year ( we are down from 12 to 4 ) and changing the date after the first indication, hasn't helped .

But we will once again do battle with the crowds in the "Wave" start and the rigors of Schiehallion - hoping that the rumor of hot sausage rolls at the summit is more than just Scotch Mist......
