The Three Peaks, Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon · 30 June 2016

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Ross Gilroy and I am 14 years old. The Gwynedd and Anglesey Aspergers and Autism Support Group is a charity that helps teenagers and young adults in Anglesey and Gwynedd. Amoungst many
activities they offer they run a weekly youth club in Bangor. Every year the funding for the youth club gets cut back and I would like to help raise some money to keep the youth club going

The challenge I have set myself is to climb the the highest mountain in Scotland - Ben Nevis which is 1345m above sealevel, then the highest mountain in England - Scarfell Pike at 978m finally the highest mountain in Wales Snowdon which is 1085m (or in old money 3560 feet).  I will start from FortWilliam on 30 June climb Ben Nevis then, because my dad will be a little slow, we will do Scarfell Pike on July 1st finishing by climbing Snowdon on Sunday 3 July .

I also have to do all the navigation and planning - this includes the drive and finding somewhere to stay before each walk. Part of the challenge is also to do all the map reading while my dad drives me to each starting point. My dad won't be helping me with any of the navigation on the walks or map reading in the car but he will be there to support me and will be walking with me along with our two dogs Maisy and Fudge.

Please help achieve my goal of raising £1500 for the charity.
