I am going to be running the London and Edinburgh Marathon this year and I am doing it in memory of my Dad. He passed away in 2021 as a result of his 3rd bout of Cancer, after managing to defeat it on 2 previous occasions. It’s a horrible illness that will sadly impact each and every one of us in some way, shape or form, at some point of our lives.

Through organisations such as Worldwide Cancer Research though, the day will come that a cure is finally found. Worldwide Cancer Research are an Edinburgh based charity who invest in pioneering discovery research projects all over the world. Their aim is to support the research to find new cures to beat cancer.

I’ve teamed up with them and I’m looking to raise as much money as I possibly can to support the incredible work that they do. I’ve never run a marathon and I have to say that I’m a little nervous to be running them in back to back months (April & May). If I could ask you to support me in my quest though to raise money for this fantastic organisation, it would be so greatly appreciated. Your support will help fund the brightest new ideas around the world - ideas that could start new cancer cures!!
