Howdy troops! 

This is a campaign to raise money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation on behalf of my dad who is currently going through his own battle with the disease right now. Due to the love he has for his Hibees , Sunshine on Leith and (by extension) the Proclaimers, I've committed to covering at least 500 miles by various means in the month of October. 

HOWEVER! As an extension to this, and a nod to the Duo from Auchtermuchty, I am being joined by my Sister, Brother and Mother, my friends and extending an invitation to anyone else who wants to contribute some miles to help us reach the lofty target of... 500 more miles (you see the theme by now). 

So the ultimate goal is to cover 1000 miles between us and raise some funds to fight this bastard of a disease.
