Global estimates suggest 22,000 people a year die as a result of lack of safe access to abortions*.

The US supreme court decision to repeal Roe v Wade will drastically add to that and while abortion funds exist nationwide, they operate on shoestring budgets and need our support now more than ever. Hence why we're committing to row at least 22,000 metres over the course of July to raise money for abortion funds in Row For Roe.

With Roe overturned, some states are racing to enforce trigger bans, pre-Roe bans, and total or early gestational bans. Abortion funds will continue to be the last line of defense in ensuring that people can access the care they need. One of the most pivotal things you can do at this moment is to support abortion funds.
