Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 · 12 October 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
🏃♂️ I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for WWF – and I need your support! 🌍🐼
This October, I’ll be running 21.1 kilometres through London’s Royal Parks – not only for the thrill of the challenge, but to raise funds for a cause that means a lot to me: WWF! Did you know it is for World Wide Fund for Nature?
The very first time I ran a long distance was six years ago, when I moved to London and was living near Oxford Circus. I ran through the Royal Parks – so taking on this half marathon feels like coming full circle. It will be my very first race at this distance, and it holds a lot of personal meaning.
🌱 Why WWF?
I’ve always had a deep appreciation for wildlife and the natural world. In fact, I even have a panda tattoo on the back of my arm – long before I ever imagined running for WWF! While the tattoo wasn’t originally connected to the charity, it feels like a perfect symbol now. Pandas represent peace, gentleness, and the fragile beauty of nature – values that WWF works hard to protect every single day.
WWF is leading the charge in the fight to save our planet – protecting endangered species, preserving vital habitats, and tackling the climate crisis head-on. Their mission is more urgent than ever, and I’m proud to support them.
By donating, you’ll be helping WWF to:
Protect animals like tigers, elephants, and of course, pandas 🐘🐼
Tackle climate change and promote renewable energy 🌿
Restore habitats and support sustainable communities 🌾
Ensure future generations inherit a thriving, healthy planet 🌎
💚 How you can help:
Please consider supporting my run with a donation – big or small, every contribution makes a difference. And if you can’t donate right now, sharing this page would mean a lot too.
Thanks so much for your support – and if you spot a runner with a panda on her arm this October, give me a cheer! 🐼💪
