Walk 25 miles · 27 March 2021

The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our amazing little boy has been diagnosed with Williams Syndrome at the beginning of 2021.

Williams Syndrome is a very rare genetic disorder which many probably won’t of heard of.

Fergus is such a loving happy little boy with a friendly out going personality, these are typical symptoms of his condition.

As a family we are keen to raise awareness as only 3500 children and adults in the UK have this condition.

All of our friends and family have shown amazing  support since we began our new journey with Fergus, and for this we are truly grateful, we have received several suggestions for fund raising events which will contribute to the national Williams charity, and  therefore we have set the following challenge:

Complete a 25 mile walk / run / cycle/ swim over a 2 week period, all monies raised will go to the Williams foundation.

If you would like to support the event but not complete the physical challenge then donations are gratefully received.

Thanks

Roz, Stuart, Isla & Fergie!!
