Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have completed the Maggie's monster bike and hike  challenge 2014, with some great results. All but 1 (due to injury) managed to gold. There were a few personal records with some finishing 7hrs ahead of previous times, Cyril Dyson. Lorna and Gordon Dalrymple came in 3 hrs earlier. Roz and Frank McManus managed 10 minutes but Roz was first Lady in at 13hrs and 21 minutes. Paul Grant was at the forefront of the bike stage despite 2 punctures. Dave Summers managed the whole gold section despite huge blisters and taped up feet.

Our team managed to keep the medics busy as almost half the team required treatment at the end with one having to go to hospital. Luckily everyone is ok.

Thanks to the support team on their efforts. Adeline Casey, Vicky Russell, Pauline Coghlan, Andy Barrett, Amy Scott and Helen Dyson.

Thanks also for all the support and donations, with the gift aid and money to come in we have almost £8200 . Let's aim for £10000
