We are four friends, Paddy Whelan, Mick Eustace, Neil "Toffee" Davis and Kevin Eustace,  who like so many others have suffered sad losses to cancer. As like a lot of charities in the last year the Irish Cancer Society has seen a huge drop in their fundraising.  Due to this we feel now more than ever that we should do our bit. 

Our aim is the drive to every county in Ireland, run one mile in each county and do all 26 counties in under 24 hours. As a team of four, two will share the driving, Paddy and Mick, while Toffee and Kevin do the running.

After two original dates had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions we are very hopeful we can run our event on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of May. We will finish up in Athy where the last leg will be 1.219 miles long meaning both Toffee and Kevin will have completed a marathon distance.

Having now successfully completed our challenge the running is not over with yet. Toffee has set himself the challenge of running a marathon, non-stop this time, around Athy on Sunday the 13th of June. Please cheer him on if you happen to see him.
