Royal Parks Half Marathon 2016 · 9 October 2016 ·

Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the 2016 Royal Parks half-marathon in aid of Epilepsy Action. They do fantastic work to support people who, like me, live with epilepsy. I've personally benefitted from their services and information and know that they help the over 600,000 other people affected by epilepsy in the UK, as well as their families and friends.

Epilepsy is the most common neurological condition there is and yet it's incredibly misunderstood. Those living with epilepsy frequently face stigma and Epilepsy Action work to educate the public about the facts, supporting people with epilepsy in battling discrimination in all aspects of their lives.

I'm really proud to be able to help them in their mission and hope you can spare £1 to help me round 12km of London's parks and landmarks this October.
