Charlie House support children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in the North-East of Scotland. The help make sure that they and their families receive the support they need. The Charlie House big build appeal is aiming to raise funds to build a dedicated facility in Aberdeen so that families will not have to travel over a hundred miles to get support, respite or palliative care.

Ruth has volunteered for Charlie House for over a year at the Curated Market in Bon Accord, and Mike ran for Charlie House at the Garioch 1/2 Marathon in May.

Ruth ran the Chicago Marathon in 2018 and has 3 other marathons under her belt, this will be Mike ran the London Virtual Marathon in 2021, but split it up over the day so this will be his first full marathon all in one go!

We would like our joint Chicago Marathon run to help raise money for Charlie House, and anything raised will be matched through a matched giving scheme through Mike's work.
