Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are both celebrating significant birthdays this year and have decided to challenge ourselves to complete a 100km walk in 24 hours to support Blind Veterans UK, the national charity for vision-impaired ex-Service men and women.

We met a number of participants taking part in the 2017 event - including some visually impaired ex-Service men - as the route passes through our village - and after doing some research we agreed that it was a great charity to support as well as being a suitably difficult challenge for both of us - and it falls on our Wedding Anniversary weekend too so how better to mark 12 years of wedded bliss!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
