The Welsh 3000's · 10 August 2013

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 10th April 2011 my sister 'Dawn' had a terrible stroke at the age of 39, the stroke was severe and doctors prepared the family for the worst. Dawn had a different agenda,  through her sheer will power she pulled through that night and it is with that will power that she continues to fight through her rehabilitation two years on, she is a truly remarkable person!

My aim with this tough challenge is to raise awareness of the potential of strokes in young people and to raise money for the stroke association, they have supported and continue to support Dawn through her rehabilatation. I will be undertaking the tough challenge of completing a hike over the 14 welsh peaks above 3000 feet on the weekend of the 10th August.

I would greatly appreciate any donation you can afford! to help me raise funds for the stroke association in appreciation for their support of Dawn and other people in the same situation.
