Around since 1923, SAMH currently operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland. These services together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, sport and physical activity; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

Story

Ross and I will be running a half marathon for the Great Scottish Run on 30th September to raise money for SAMH (in partnership with SeeME & respect me) is a charity for Scotland’s mental health and well being who provide numerous services within communities for people from self help tools to suicide prevention and supporting others towards their recovery.

They also offer 1-1 sessions spending time with someone listening and talking, helping them in their recovery. Talking is one of the first steps to improving mental health. It can help someone who is at their lowest point. It could save someone’s life....

Every year 1 in 4 of us in scotland will experience a mental health problem. If you don’t, the chances are you will know someone who does. Personally I have spoke with people who engaged with SAMH and by listening to their story’s of all the helpful resources available provided by SAMH and the information they provide on other services available we take pride in raising money for a charity who show people..you are not alone. 💗🖤💗🖤

If you are struggling with your mental health and well-being and feel at present uncomfortable speaking with family or a friend about it please have a look on their website. ❤️ https://www.samh.org.uk/

Thanks for your kindness very much appreciated xx
