EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for visiting our page!

We all work for the Sheffield Community Brain Injury Rehab Team. After many weeks of discussing over lunch how we should do some running and fundraising, we have finally got ourselves organised and entered the Sheffield 10km on the 5th September. We are running to raise money and awareness for Headway, the national brain injury chairty. It is a great cause, check out their website; www.headway.org.uk if you want to find out more.

We have been training really hard so would really appreciate your support. Support doesn't have to mean lots of cash as even the smallest donations all add up. Also it would be great if anyone wants to come down on the day and cheer us on!

Thanks for taking the time to look at our page, hope to see you on Sunday the 5th!
