Story

Many of us have been affected in some way by life changing illnesses that have touched us and our family and friends, and we have all witnessed first hand the skill and dedication of doctors and medical staff who have been involved in our care and those of our loved ones.

Medical research has helped tackle many of the diseases and conditions that affect human health. But there will always be more to do.

Although significant resources are being spent on developing exciting new treatments and therapies, there are areas of medical need that receive little or no support - and people's lives that see no improvement. That's where we step in.The Medical Research Foundation funds and supports promising research in areas of high clinical need that receive little or no investment.

Two of our current priorities where more research is needed, are adolescent mental health and anti-microbial resistance.

Please help me to help the Medical Research Foundation improve human health and change lives.

Thank you for your support, and do listen out for my screaming from 10,000 feet on 25th August!!
