SHS 4 Course Golf Challenge · 31 May 2018

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Over the past 2 years we have been supporting our staff nominated Charity, Alzheimer’s Society and as a closing event to this partnership, 2 of our staff, Bernard Brown and Alan Neill are taking on a challenge of completing 4 full games of golf on the longest day of the year, to raise vital funds for the work of the Alzheimer’s Society in Northern Ireland.

The Challenge

Starting at 5am, which will be first light, and completing 4 games in 4 different clubs before sundown, Bernard Brown and Alan Neil will play the charity round with a representative of the club.

The plan for the day is as follows:

  • 5am – Donaghadee
  • 9am-9.30am – Clandyboye (Ava Course)
  • 1pm-1.30pm – Carnalea
  • 5pm-5.30pm – Royal Belfast
  • Finishing at approx.  9:00pm
