Story
We are SLAAMN; a group of students local to the area of Wootton Bassett all studying at Sixth Form.
The idea behind the making of this website is to advertise the award that we are working towards. A charity called the Wings Of Hope sent two representatives into our school to tell us about the Wings Of Hope Achievement Award (WOHAA). It was a decision made by all six of us to become a team, apply for this award and submit our ideas. In short, the main process for this is done in a few simple steps. The first is to apply to be part of the award scheme, creating a team name. We chose the team name SLAAMN as it gives the idea that we are strong and willing to put our all into the Wings Of Hope Achievement Award. It is also the initials of each member of our team which are: Steph BellLydia CoventryAllanah SkuseAndy TimminsMulenga NkambaNina FernandesThe second step is to submit our idea(s) which has to be done by the 21st February 2010. You can find out more information by clicking on “Our Fundraising” page.It is then down to our work so far that determines whether or not we make the next stage, which is to present our ideas to a panel of judges in the House of Lords, London. Thank you for taking the time to read this; please pass this onto friends and family. We all greatly value your support!Visit Us On Our website: www.slaamn.com
