Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. In the UK and around the world, we make sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning, so they can become who they want to be.

Story

My first ever charity event when I was 2yrs old was a sponsored walk organised by my Dad and so to keep tradition alive I am arranging a sponsored walk for Oriel and as many of her friends as possible.

I have raised money for Save the Children Fund for many years now along with my Mum and Grandma. They do such amazing work all over the world and now I have a child of my own I appreciate how valuable a charity like this is. Not all children are as lucky as ours to live in the country that we do so please help me to help them.

Oriel and her friends will be doing a minimum of one lap around Didsbury park. Bearing in mind that some of the children participating are quite new to walking, this will be quite some feat. Dig deep people this is for an amazing cause and if you want to come along and cheer on our little feet it is being held in Didsbury Park on July 23rd from 10am!
