We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

The Sheffield United Performance Staff taking part; Nathan Winder, Josh Kirk, Rob Rayner, Lee McMahon, Chris Senior, Ruth Titterton, Paul Evans, Adam Geelan, Nick Travis, Hayden Whiting, Paul Heckingbottom, Rhys Carr, Mark Pease, Morgan Wright. We are supporting the story below. Any donations are very much appreciated.

In November 2018, Stephen Gilpin started a challenge. A challenge that consisted of him and Ross Burbeary running 10km every day in less than 45 minutes throughout November.

To continue the fundraising in November 2019, the Rotherham United Sport Science and Medical team along with support from West Ham LFC and Coventry City FC performed the same challenge. An amazing effort from the Wolves Sport Science and Medical team saw them emulate the challenge the following month throughout December for Leukaemia Research.

For this year, the 3rd year running, we are doing the same but asking for something extra. We are asking that every team in the Premier League and English Football League show their support by joining in with us. We are aiming to have at least one staff member of every football club to perform a single 10km (or as many they like) in November. This should create some fantastic awareness for a great charity whilst showing unity within football during this difficult time for everyone.

Please post any photos of your run on social media to show your support using the hashtag #prostateunited.

Let's see how many clubs can show their support! Can we get all 72!
