Story

We are Sheffield University Walking Club. As regular visitors of the Peak District, we are lucky to have never needed the services of Edale Mountain Rescue, but we are incredibly grateful that they are there,
ready and willing to help us if necessary.

Edale Mountain Rescue are an organisation of highly-trained volunteers. They are called to over 100 incidents a year, and rely heavily on donations and fundraising to save lives and support emergency services.

In 2015 the club successfully raised £368 by walking from
Manchester to Sheffield in a relay fashion. On Saturday 29th April,
the club will attempt this again. 5 teams of walkers will complete sections of the route, passing a baton between them, starting at 6am and finishing at night, covering over 45 miles in the process.

Please, help us raise as much money for Edale Mountain
Rescue as possible!
