This summer I will be going to volunteer in Kenya to work with Livelihood projects, through the International Citizen Service, for 3 months. ICS sends volunteers, aged 18-25, to communities to work on development projects in areas who require it the most. The livelihoods project aims to get individuals participate in the local and national development of their country and improve general quality of life.

I will be heading out on project with VSO (www.vso.org.uk). As part of the programme, over the next couple of months I have been tasked to raise £800 which will go completely towards supporting the projects on the ground, not towards flights, vaccinations, or any personal costs. Help me reach my goal and go abroad this summer. Any donation, small or large, helps me go on this great programme.
