Jon and our 'Fantastic Five' (Kate Ardron, Neil Dixon, Cary Clark, Nick Doggett and Matt Skilton) are running the Plymouth Half Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK!

In addition, my awesome friend Suzie Holder is also running the London Marathon and has chosen to direct all of her fund-raising efforts to Cancer Research via our page too. Thank you Suzie!

Jon and I actually signed up to the half marathon before I was diagnosed with cervical cancer for the second time. Unfortunately, due to chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment, I can no longer run the race... but Jon will be flying the flag for both of us alongside our AMAZING friends. Jon is currently tackling the training with the same positive attitude that gets us through each day and I can't wait to cheer them over the finish line on race day!

So many people are affected by cancer, most of us know someone who's had it, be it a family member or friend, which is why we are trying so hard to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Let's help turn those breakthroughs in the lab into breakthroughs in our hospitals and bring forward the cure. ♡
