Until our 14 year old son, Kaleb, suffered a brain bleed in July 2016 whilst on a school trip in Morrocco due to a previously undiagnosed brain tumour, we had no idea that brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer and five-year survival remains low at just 19.8%. Yet brain tumour research receives just 1% of the national spend on cancer research.

The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. We fund pioneering research to increase survival, raise awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and provide support for everyone affected to improve quality of life.
