Winchester Hospice provides palliative and end of life care to those with life-limiting illness. The hospice team support patients to live a life as full as possible in an environment that enhances wellbeing, privacy & care. We need to raise over £650k every year to support this invaluable service.

Story

I am part of a team of 20 women who are hoping to trek up Africa's highest mountain in October. I have never done anything like this before, and will be a huge challenge both physically and mentally. I am self funding, so any money donated will all go direct to the Hospice.

Winchester is short of a hospice. Currently the Countess Mountbatten Hospice in Andover is the closest hospice to Winchester. We all know people who would have benefited from the expertise of a local hospice making those last few difficult months and weeks slightly easier. As a GP I know what difference a local hospice can make to the whole family.

So please help me raise money for this great cause.
