Bupa Great North Run 2011 · 18 September 2011 ·

Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

3 friends and myself are running the Great North Run (yikes!!) on the 18th September. I had a target to do a half marathon before I turned 30, but that wasn't possible because I was blessed with my beautiful Lilia last year. Instead I am hoping to do it before I am 31 (19th September) that’s if I don't take 12 hours to get round!!

We are running for a charity called Aspire, which is dedicated to supporting people with spinal cord injury. It’s a fantastic charity that focuses on helping those affected enjoy independence, choice & opportunity to lead a fulfilled life.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now
